Life starts at forty.  I'll have to believe that -- I will be forty in a few days !  Well, I am going to stop being a dinosaur and start blogging ...

 

I'm calling it Plain Vanilla -- based on something my husband said about my cooking skills. More about that later ..... 

 

By the way, most of this blog is going to be about what goes on in my life on a day-to-day basis.  So it will certainly be biased and most likely,  uninteresting to most people.  But, hey, this blog is for me to air my views -- definitely prejudiced, perhaps dull, maybe crazy, sometimes illogical and at times pure, unalloyed evil !!  I intend this to be therapeutic for me -- for starters, it feels good to see one's (uncensored) opinions in black and white.  And, who knows, there might be a few people out there who can actually relate to some of what I write about.  Okay, will get started now .....
